Lady Antebellum adds another award to shelf, winning Group Video of the Year at last night’s Country Music Television awards ceremony for their smash hit, “Need You Now.”
The trio accepted the title, beating Rascal Flatts, Gloriana and Zac Brown Band.

At last night’s Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, Lady Antebellum took home 5 Awards including Single Record of the Year (artist & producer), Song of the Year for ”Need You Know” (artist and composers) and Top Vocal Group. Lady Antebellum was the night’s top winners.
The show was a great celebration for the biggest names and emerging artists in country music today. Carrie Underwood was the guest of honor, winning the night’s biggest award, Entertainer of the Year, and for the second time in a row. She is the first female to have won Entertainer of the Year twice and the 7th female to be honored with the title in the 40-year history of the category. Others include Loretta Lynn 1975, Dolly Parton 1977, Barbara Mandrell 1980, Reba McEntire 1994, Shania Twain 1999, and the Dixie Chicks 2000.
